Hello again, newcomers and long-timers alike! August in New York is insane! Some nights when I come home, peeling the clothes off my body, I remember how, just a few months ago, I was begging for weather like this.
This year, for me, has been about getting back into musical theater. In the first few months, I went to some open mics, took some classes, and got back into vocal lessons. Now, for the second half of the year, I’m excited to talk about a musical I’m taking part in!
SHE LOVES ME
I’m playing the lead role of Georg in “She Loves Me”! The seating will be dinner theater style, and the classic 1960s score will be arranged for a Jazz quartet. Performance dates are on weekends in late September and early October, and it takes place at Maggie’s Little Theater—a charming theater in a church in Middle Village, Queens. I hope you can make it!

FANTABULOUS!! So excited to see what you will bring to the stage next! In your last show, I loved how your character came to life when you faced good and evil on both sides of the conflict. I was deeply moved as you struggled over leaving the authority and joining the rebellion. But my absolutely favorite was when you were Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast at Laguardia– you made me laugh so hard I fell off my chair! Can’t wait for this one. Break a Leg!! Laura
