The Little Death at MoMA

I’m appearing in a film being screened at MoMA! I worked with LaGuardia Alumni Elizabeth Harvath as director, and Saige Rodriguez as my co-star, making a Buster-Keaton-styled 35mm film, titled The Little Death.

See it Thursday, the 23rd at Roy and Niuta Titus Theatre 1 (Titus Theatre 1) @6:30p. 11 W 53rd street. Get there early if you can, seats fill up fast!

THE HANG ON TO YOUR LOVE EP

Starting last year, I returned to musical theater for the first time in 7-8 years, and I’ve been trying to do my own side projects. Cue Hang on to Your Love, an EP of musical-theater-style covers of Sade. The instrumentation is very minimal: one upright piano and solo vocals, with the reverb of a rehearsal studio. LOVE IS QUEER SHORT PLAY READINGS

Also starting last year, I began working with Village Playwrights, an LGBT playwrights’ collective that’s been running since 1985. Catch me in their Love is Queer festival, also around Valentine’s weekend. I’ll be part of a group of actors reading various plays. Come to The Center at 208 W13th street, February 12th, 7:00 – 8:30p. Ticket information to be posted closer to the date.
